may we see want we want to see
may we hear what we want to hear.

so that we'll keep thinking the way we do
so that the confusion will cease
and the lies remain unknown
to others and to ourself.

and also so that we'll still believe 
in the things we want to believe in.
be it true or false, 
right or wrong.

may we still be real and true
even though its never really certain.

just so that we'll find reasons to justify 
the way we act, 
the way we feel,
the way we think,
the way we judge.
